All District Selection News!
District 4-5A All-District selections have been announced and the Lamar Lady Vikings were well represented.
Four Lady Vikes – Brooke Grant, Janay Keys, Elizabeth Spence and Hunter Woolridge were named first team All-District and Jasmine Dubose was named Defensive Player of the Year.
In addition, Coach Errin Levels was named co-coach of the year with North Crowley’s Stephani Gray.
All three levels of girls basketball – Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman – finished in second place in district play.
Congratuations to the Lady Vikings on an outstanding season!

Greetings Parents, Players and Fans!
The regular season has ended and the state playoffs will begin tomorrow.
The 2012 season has been great on all levels. We placed second in district on the freshman, junior varsity and varsity level. The varsity has a record of 22-12 and will play San Angelo Central High School @ 6:00 on February 14 in the first round of the playoffs.
The girls are excited and looking forward to the challenge ahead. They are playing well together and have really blossomed as a team. We believe in hard work and our success is a by-product of that work.
I am proud of all of the teams and thankful for the opportunity to coach in another playoff game. We will do our best to win on the road so we can play again for the home crowd.

Congratulations to the Lady Vikes
Congratulations to the Lady Vikes who took sole possession of second place in District 4-5A with a victory over Arlington Bowie on Friday, Feb. 3. The Lady Vikes face Martin in their final home game on Tuesday, Feb. 7 and are awaiting word on who their first round playoff opponent will be.
